As an Engineer III, you will assist in analyzing, designing, and managing the construction of water and wastewater treatment systems, contributing to the development of sustainable communities.

Responsibilities

Manages and perform system design, including calculations, equipment selection, layout, and drawing preparation
Develops and reviews project documents, specifications, and design options; ensures code compliance through meetings and reviews
Conduct site investigations and technical research to support design decisions
Coordinates with technicians and staff; assign tasks and checks work for accuracy
Apply standard engineering practices and software tools to produce high-quality deliverables
Demonstrates working knowledge of relevant codes and design standards
Build and develop internal and external relationships

Engineering degreeWastewater treatment knowledgeHydraulics understandingAutoCAD Civil 3DEngineer-in-Training (EIT)Revit experienceArcGIS experienceSite investigation skillsTechnical research skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Preferred

2 – 6 years' experience
Engineer-in-Training/Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT)
Understanding of concepts of wastewater treatment and collection systems
Understanding of closed-pipe and open-channel and hydraulics
AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred
Revit and ArcGIS software experience is a plus
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to perform site visits
Previous intern experience relating to wastewater is highly preferred
