Responsibilities

Define and execute the vision of our next generation aircraft avionics from concept through production

Build, lead, and mentor a world-class avionics engineering team

Drive the design of custom avionics hardware and support equipment

Integrate off-the-shelf hardware and drive the roadmap for future vertical integration

Establish and enforce appropriate design processes

Maintain technical excellence—implement rigorous design processes and ensure compliance with industry standards

Ensure system performance meets requirements and design expectations

Collaborate cross-functionally with Shield’s core teams, such as engineering, production, supply chain, business development, and program management

Engage with external partners – coordinate with vendors and engineering teams as needed
