Civil Engineer-In-Training
Walker Partners is a Texas-based civil engineering and survey firm committed to strengthening communities. As a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT), you will assist project teams in designing various civil engineering projects while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities
Use technical software, including but not limited to AutoCAD Civil3D, HEC-RAS, Hydroflow, EPANet, Flowmaster, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel, to develop, analyze, and quality-check engineering plans and technical specifications
Support civil engineering efforts - including planning, design, and permitting - across a diverse portfolio of municipal and land development projects
Work side-by-side with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges and bring our clients' infrastructure and development goals to life
Build working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations while gaining familiarity with Walker Partners' quality standards and client specific procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (from ABET Accredited Civil Engineering Program)
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
2-5 years of experience in municipal infrastructure and/or land development projects
Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) - required
Preferred
AutoCAD Civil3D
