Responsibilities

Utilize CATIA software to create and modify 3D models and technical drawings for manufacturing processes and products
Develop detailed design specifications, CAD models, and engineering drawings in compliance with industry standards and company guidelines
Collaborate with product development, engineering, and production teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet quality standards
Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to determine the best design solutions and materials for manufacturing
Perform design reviews, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to enhance product design and manufacturing efficiency
Support the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes, tools, and technologies
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during the manufacturing process to resolve any design-related issues
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CATIA software, industry trends, and best practices in manufacturing design
Prepare and present technical documentation, reports, and presentations to stakeholders
Other duties as assigned

Required

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with CATIA V5/V6, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Skills: Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and design using CATIA software
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing and design
Ability to adapt to new technologies and continuously improve design processes

Preferred

Knowledge of additional CAD software and PLM systems preferred
Certification in CATIA or related engineering software, preferred
Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), preferred
