Responsibilities

Counseling and advisory on cyber/data/privacy compliance issues

Work on privacy and cybersecurity aspects of corporate and technology transactions

Incident preparedness and response

State and federal investigations

Litigation

Information security and privacy due diligence for corporate transactions

Data processing agreements and privacy schedules in commercial transactions

Data breach response and incident response planning

Required

Four to seven years of experience advising clients on cyber/data/privacy compliance issues, in either a private law firm or in-house position

Experience with CCPA, CPRA, GDPR and other privacy law compliance

Experience with information security and privacy due diligence for corporate transactions

Experience with data processing agreements and privacy schedules in commercial transactions

Experience with data breach response and incident response planning

High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school

Ability to engage directly with clients and lead significant projects

Very strong analytical and writing skills
