Responsibilities
Responsible for responding to crisis calls and planned interventions aimed to support individuals with a developmental disability, their families and caregivers when experiencing a mental health crisis situation
Assisting with individual service plan development; person centered planning and CFT; emergency contact sheet development; at risk crisis plan development; positive behavior support; transitions back to home/group home and administer emergency response in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Professional, friendly, self-starter, organized, and compassionate
Experience in providing crisis counseling to individuals (children and adults) and their families and caregivers
Ability to respond to crisis calls and planned interventions
Experience in individual service plan development
Experience in person-centered planning and CFT
Ability to develop emergency contact sheets
Ability to develop at-risk crisis plans
Experience in positive behavior support
Ability to assist with transitions back to home/group home
Ability to administer emergency response in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures
Preferred
Bilingual in Spanish
