Responsibilities

Drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda and correspondence for use in state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings

Drafting and responding to complex discovery requests

Conferring, negotiating, and communicating with opposing counsel

Preparing for, defending, and conducting depositions

Preparing for and presenting oral argument at hearings

Preparing for trial, including preparing exhibit lists, evidentiary objections, motions in limine and witness preparation

Preparing appellate briefs

Qualification

Required

At least four-six years of trademark, copyright, and entertainment litigation and counseling experience

Significant experience with drafting and responding to pleadings

Preparing and responding to discovery

Taking and defending depositions

Working with experts

Overall litigation and counseling strategy

Direct responsibility in drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda and correspondence for use in state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings

Drafting and responding to complex discovery requests

Conferring, negotiating, and communicating with opposing counsel

Preparing for, defending, and conducting depositions

Preparing for and presenting oral argument at hearings

Preparing for trial, including preparing exhibit lists, evidentiary objections, motions in limine and witness preparation

Preparing appellate briefs

Strong academic credentials

Superb judgment and communication skills

Commitment to providing excellent client services

Preferred

Trial experience is a plus
