The Recruiter will be responsible for delivering a positive candidate experience and will work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities

Working closely with hiring managers to understand their business and staffing needs
Assisting hiring managers in drafting new job descriptions when needed
Building trusting and positive working relationships with hiring managers by providing recruiting knowledge and strategic recruiting solutions
Partnering with hiring managers to proactively identify potential candidates from other comparable organizations, colleges/universities, diversity sources and other external talent sources
Developing innovative sourcing strategies to increase the quantity, quality and diversity of the candidate pool
Working with hiring managers to guide the interview process, while ensuring a fair and equitable hiring decision
Consulting with hiring managers and HR leadership to ensure job offers are in line with IOA’s compensation guidelines
Conducting phone interviews and evaluating candidates against a specific job profile and recommending qualified candidates to hiring managers for in-person interviews

Required

2+ years of professional recruitment experience within a health care, social services, non-profit or for-profit environment, or, 2+ years' experience recruiting professional-level staff for a contingency staffing agency or executive search firm
Applicant Tracking System experience
Ability to build partnerships and consult effectively with agency leadership and hiring managers
Ability to develop and execute Internet sourcing strategies
Ability to work within a team-oriented environment
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
