Responsibilities
Lead evaluations of flavors in applications for briefs, research projects and portfolio evaluations
Select flavors for projects according to specified requirements (i.e. customer, regulatory, legislation, costs) and suggest improvements for the most common applications
Identify appropriate flavor delivery systems and technologies for customer projects in specific applications
Gain trust and respect of project partners and team members
Maintain the flavor performance data for the flavor portfolio through evaluation in finished product and capture of profiles
Collaborate on project ideas and project plans as assigned
Maintain a safe, clean and organized lab environment observing EH&S policies and hold others accountable for following these guidelines

Qualification
Required
B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or other as relevant with work experience
4+ years experience in a food applications lab, production, or related area
Understanding of food applications, ingredients, and processes with experience in customers' food manufacturing environment
Understanding of flavor reactions/interactions in common food products and the ability to recommend flavor modifications based on performance
Experience with specific technical applications and basic skills in multiple applications areas
