Responsibilities

Lead the design and optimization of thermal spray coatings

Collaborate across teams—from suppliers to customers—to turn ideas into real-world commercial products

Use advanced analytical techniques and Design of Experiments (DOE) to fine-tune processes

Apply hands-on skills with equipment and data analysis to solve complex coating challenges

Integrate principles of materials science and coating physics to advance coating solutions for semiconductor capital equipment

Collaborate cross-functionally with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to capture market requirements and shape coating material roadmaps

Identify emerging application opportunities and develop innovative solutions for complex surface technology challenges

Lead end-to-end product development, from concept design through to commercialization, ensuring performance and reliability targets are met

Resolve coating-related issues by applying scientific analysis and engineering principles

Apply advanced Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies to optimize coating parameters under multivariable conditions

Conduct detailed evaluations of coatings through micrograph analysis and interpretation of analytical performance data
