Responsibilities

Support departmental projects using strong engineering principles and techniques

Seeking solution of process capability or non-conformance problems

Use analytical tools to develop knowledge and experience

Support and enhance processes, methods, and procedures significant to product development

Work in a team environment towards bringing new product and technologies and techniques to the process

Prepares documentation, reports, and presentations of technical data related to studies and projects –speaks with data and facts in a clear and effective manner

All other duties assigned by manager or engineering advisor

Qualification

Structural mechanicsData analysis toolsApplied statisticsDesign of ExperimentsLean principlesCommunication skills

Required

Good knowledge of structural mechanics and dynamics

Good knowledge of data analysis tools, especially Microsoft office

Understanding of applied statistics, Design of Experiments, cause-and-effect analysis; risk analysis; lean principles

Ability to accomplish assignments in a logical fashion, using existing technology and standardized methodologies

Strong communication skills [written/oral] in presenting data and information to others

1- 5 Years' college level experience with a focus on Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Sciences, or Business
