Responsibilities
Develop and apply advanced AI models to extract insights from digital pathology images
Integrate pathology data with other modalities—including surgical notes, laboratory testing, and medical imaging—to create multi-modal models for cancer care
Contribute to projects that aim to improve patient management and treatment decision-making, with the potential to advance into clinical trials and real-world clinical applications
Communicate and present your research to team members, stakeholders, and at national and international conferences
Qualification
Required
PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
Strong research experience in advanced AI modeling for computer vision and/or natural language processing
Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
Excellent communication skills to effectively share research ideas, present findings, and collaborate with diverse teams
Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program
Preferred
Experience with cloud computing and/or high-performance computing (HPC) is a plus
