InternMountaire Farms is offering a Sales Intern position that provides practical sales and business experience while contributing to impactful projects. The intern will focus on improving customer evaluation processes using sales metrics and will have the opportunity to analyze data, manage daily market pricing, and present findings to management.

Responsibilities
Work/Meet with representatives from other departments across the organization
Review current account rankings, system, information and understand where we are and where the goal is to get to
Spend time in various departments to understand the business and apply this information to this project
Participate in numerous meetings with other team members to calculate the percentages we should weigh each item for the total customer evaluation
Analyze data and make recommendations on systems and ranking changes
Manage this project as if you were the one using it to sell for Mountaire
Spend time learning about the ranking process, procedures, in other parts of our business
Presentation of project scope and findings at the end of the summer to Sales and corporate Management
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled and pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university
Valid Driver's license
Must pass the Mountaire Motor Vehicle Record check
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
Analytical mindset with the ability to work with numbers and interpret data
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas); knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint) a plus
Communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Professional attitude and commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive sales information
Willingness to learn about poultry sales, customer relations, and supply chain dynamics
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
