NUCLEAR MED TECHNOLOGIST II

Responsibilities
Ability to operate a PETCT and SPECT/CT unit under the guidelines of the State of NJ
Maintains additional licensure to perform CT portion of the Nuclear Medicine exam with either an X-ray license of a NJDEP Limited or a Fusion Imaging CT Technology license
Qualification
Required
0-2 years of experience
Completion of clinical training through NM training program or college requirements
High School diploma required
Graduate of an AMA approved program in Nuclear Medicine
ARRT or NMTCB certification
NJDEP – Nuclear Medicine license
NJDEP Diagnostic Radiology or NJDEP Limited to Fusion Imaging CT Technology license must be obtained within 6 months of hire
Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers
