They are looking for a Natural Gas Engineer to join their ICE Team, responsible for designing various natural gas projects and ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

Responsibilities

Design various natural gas projects including distribution mains, transmission pipelines, metering & regulating facilities as well as launcher/receiver assemblies

Perform civil site design, trenchless installation design, utility conflict analysis, and traffic control plan design

Prepare design reports and construction plans using client, local, state, or other applicable standards

Coordinate preparation of specifications and permit submittals

Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities

Document design changes and communications

Conduct on-site observations as needed

Prepare project status and other reports

Assist in the preparation of proposals

Assist Project Managers as needed

Attend client, public, project, and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, preconstruction, etc

Attend seminars and/or training classes

Maintain excellent client relations

Maintain a safe working environment

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering required

5-10 years of experience is required

The candidate must be self-motivated

The candidate must have excellent communication skills

Preferred

Experience with natural gas or other utilities preferred

Experience with AutoDesk Civil 3D is preferred

Experience with Engineering based programs (GasCalc, Pipeline Toolbox, BoreAid, and other similar engineering software) is preferred
