Start in 2026 SummerMountaire Farms is a company focused on poultry production, and they are seeking a Hatchery Intern to assist in researching incubation profiles. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a hatchery, collecting and analyzing data to evaluate hatch rates, chick quality, and broiler performance, ultimately presenting their findings to leadership.

Responsibilities
Define project objectives with hatchery leadership
Develop a project scope of work outlining goals and methods
Collect and analyze hatchery data on incubation profiles
Measure outcomes for hatch rate, chick quality, and broiler performance
Document findings in reports and presentations
Share results with leadership and make recommendations
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled and pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university
Valid Driver's license
Must pass the Mountaire Motor Vehicle Record check
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
Work in a team environment
Self-Motivated and accepting of challenges and detail oriented
Outgoing with a positive attitude, willingness to ask questions, learn, and engage with the management and hourly workforce
Must be dependable and able to work early mornings
Good organizational skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to follow protocols/ instructions
Preferred
Poultry Science Major Preferred
