Forward Deployed Product Manager

Neon Health is on a mission to make life-saving drugs accessible by automating patient access workflows for pharma companies. The Forward Deployed Product Manager will lead the adoption and integration of Neon's AI automation platform, ensuring customer success and managing complex implementations.

Responsibilities

Partner directly with enterprise customers to ensure successful adoption and deep integration of Neon’s AI automation platform
Own the relationship: Build trust and act as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders, from operators to executives
Translate customer needs into technical specs: Rigorously map workflows, translate needs into technical requirements, and proactively identify edge cases
Drive implementations: Hand-hold customers through onboarding and integration
Diagnose issues: Investigate edge cases, uncover root causes, and work with engineering to resolve system or workflow challenges
Manage programs: Track timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple complex initiatives
Expand usage: Identify opportunities to deepen customer adoption and drive additional value through new workflows and capabilities

Required

Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
Experience operating in hybrid product + customer-facing roles
Experience navigating complex workflows, ideally in SaaS or automation platforms
Track record of leading implementations, technical onboarding, or product rollout programs
Strong presence with enterprise stakeholders: can influence, align, and communicate clearly
Systems thinker: Can break down complex workflows and reason clearly about processes, dependencies, and edge cases
Technical curiosity: Comfortable digging into AI-driven workflows, understanding how agents behave, and learning enough technical detail to troubleshoot
Strong analytical horsepower: 'Scary smart,' structured, and able to solve ambiguous, multi-layered problems
Execution excellence: Manages ~20+ workstreams, drives clarity, and delivers consistently
Trusted advisor: Builds credibility with executives while managing detailed, hands-on implementation work
High agency: Independent operator who can push through ambiguity and keep programs moving without handholding
Familiarity with project management platforms (Notion, Asana, Jira, etc.)
Experience with communication & CRM tools (Slack, Zoom, Salesforce, HubSpot)
Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (Excel/Sheets, BI tools)
Comfort learning new SaaS tools and light automation as needed

Preferred

Experience in consulting, data-heavy operational environments, or technical product roles
