Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end technical architecture and ensure the scalable and secure implementation of blockchain infrastructure across Inversion’s portfolio companies
Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing engineering team responsible for core infrastructure, protocol integrations, and on-chain applications
Coordinate with the blockchain 'rip and replace' strategy, ensuring the integration of blockchain into legacy systems with minimal disruption and maximal efficiency
Spearhead the design and development of on-chain user applications that offer seamless onboarding experiences, connect to Inversion’s proprietary blockchain, and facilitate the adoption of new products
Work closely with the product team to develop and execute the product strategy with a focus on integrating and scaling decentralized solutions for acquired users
Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring that Inversion’s product offerings are innovative, competitive, and aligned with the needs of both users and the blockchain ecosystem
Ensure systems meet the highest security standards through rigorous auditing, formal verification, and continuous monitoring. Implement DevOps and CI/CD best practices to support uptime, resilience, and deployment velocity
Define key product success metrics and ensure continuous tracking, reporting, and improvement
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Head of Engineering, Engineering Manager, or similar role at a fintech or blockchain company
Strong systems thinking skills and the ability to see and connect the full technical picture
Proven ability to scale engineering teams and ship secure, production-grade systems in high-stakes environments
Familiarity with stablecoin ecosystems, digital wallets, and tokenomics
Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Comfortable navigating both startup speed and enterprise-grade complexity; can lead greenfield development and legacy modernization
Exceptional leadership, communication, and ability to foster a culture of technical excellence, speed, and accountability
A passion for the intersection of blockchain technology and real-world business applications
