Responsibilities
Executing controls testing for operational audits and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) cycles
Interviewing Underwriting, Claims, and/or Operations management
Documenting risks and related controls
Developing audit programs and performing testing to evaluate the effectiveness of key controls
Working with management to develop value-added audit comments and provide recommendations to management
Assisting in drafting audit reports for senior management review
Interacting with all levels of management as audits are conducted
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in audit processes
Qualification
Required
Experience in executing controls testing for operational audits and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) cycles
Ability to interview Underwriting, Claims, and/or Operations management
Skill in documenting risks and related controls
Experience in developing audit programs
Ability to perform testing to evaluate the effectiveness of key controls
Capability to develop value-added audit comments and provide recommendations to management
Experience in drafting audit reports for senior management review
Strong analytical skills and natural curiosity
Ability to work collaboratively in teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
