Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for on-prem infrastructure using Jenkins, Ansible, or similar tools

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support agile development and infrastructure-as-code principles

Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to support a future migration to cloud platforms (cloud provider TBD)

Develop and maintain scripts and tools to streamline system provisioning, configuration, and deployment

Participate in infrastructure planning and documentation of automation processes and workflows

Support cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance

Contribute to code quality by writing unit and integration tests and participating in code reviews

Translate functional and business requirements into actionable technical tasks and automation workflows

Proactively identify and address inefficiencies or risks in deployment and configuration processes

Required

6–8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation roles

Proven experience automating on-premises infrastructure using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Bash, or PowerShell

Solid understanding of CI/CD practices, infrastructure as code, and configuration management

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Java, or C#

Familiarity with cloud concepts and a willingness to work on future cloud migration projects

Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases and system performance tuning

Experience in agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban)

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset; prior experience mentoring or leading small teams

BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
