As a Senior Hardware Test Engineer, you will ensure the reliability and performance of satellite hardware by developing and executing test strategies, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Build and execute rigorous test protocols for RF and mixed-signal hardware

Analyze test data to identify failure modes, drive root-cause investigations, and feed improvements back into design

Develop methods to optimize system resilience under space conditions

Lead continuous improvement in test methodology, automation, and best practices

Provide technical mentorship and help raise the bar for test engineering at Hubble

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — hardware, software, and mechanical — to ensure reliability from initial design through manufacturing and in-orbit operation

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering, Aerospace engineering, Computer science or a related field

7+ years of experience in hardware validation, test engineering, or RF systems testing

Experience in design, testing, and debugging of RF PCBAs coupled with a thorough understanding of electronics reliability and failure mechanisms

Experience with test equipment (such as oscilloscope, VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, and Signal Generator) and procedures for analysis, verification and validation of RF products

Strong expertise in programming languages (Python, C/C++) required for data analysis and test automation

Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions with an emphasis on RF systems

Thorough understanding of metrology, sources of measurement error, and uncertainty analysis

Experience with environmental testing such as thermal, vibration, and TVAC

Demonstrated ability to work in a highly cross-functional role

Ability to work independently

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills is a must

Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
