QuEra Computing is seeking strong candidates for a Quantum Machine Builder role to contribute to the mission of building state-of-the-art neutral atom quantum computers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantum physics and quantum computing, working cross-functionally with various teams to develop quantum systems.

Responsibilities

Work cross-functionally with our Science, Hardware Engineering, and Software Engineering teams to build quantum computers and quantum systems for existing and next-generation quantum computers

Qualification

Quantum PhysicsQuantum ComputingHands-on Lab ExperienceCoding PythonCoding C/C++Cross-functional CollaborationCuriosityAdaptability

Required

Undergraduate degree in Physics, Engineering or related fields
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a lab environment
Prior hands-on experience in a lab environment, such as working with free space optics, lasers, RF systems
Proficient in coding (Python, C/C++, Linux)
Ability to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams
Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment and can pivot as needed

Preferred

PhD in engineering, applied physics, or a related field
Strong background in quantum physics and quantum computing
Quantum Physics, Quantum Computing background
