Responsibilities

Following instructions assembling devices. Includes subassemblies, connecting cables, wire routing, calibration, system diagnostics, testing repairs, positioning, aligning, adjustment, and fastening various components

Diagnostic testing to ensure all components are working correctly and troubleshooting any issues that arise during assembly and testing

Performing quality checks to ensure the assembled systems meet the required standards and specifications

Installing specific software necessary for the system to function properly. Setting BIOS, and firmware updates

Adhering to established procedures, safety guidelines, and quality control protocols. This involves utilizing visual models for assembling fully functioning voting machines with subassemblies into prefabricated enclosures

Required to use inventory tracking systems and protocols

Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teams and others, both verbally and in writing, to optimize assembly processes and enhance product quality through strong teamwork and clear communication

Maintaining detailed records of assembly activities, component inventory work orders, and any issues encountered during installation or repairs

Required

Knowledge of computer hardware components and their functions

Familiarity with simple hand tools and computers

Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds across short distances

Attention to detail is essential for ensuring proper assembly and functionality

Problem-Solving: ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly and performance issues

Physical Stamina: This role may require standing for extended periods of time and handling components

Teamwork: ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as individually

Preferred

Experience with command prompt is a plus
