Responsibilities

Prepares patients for the CT diagnostic procedure by explaining the process and positioning the patient to correctly capture the images requested by a physician

Plans the daily patient workload to accommodate scheduled patients, including in-house and emergency patients. Guides a team, assigns resources, monitors work, develops and administers schedules, and oversees achievement of performance requirements

Assists manager in decisions involving employee hiring, employee evaluation, promotion and termination

Provides adequate staffing to accommodate patient workload, while covering vacations and sick days

Serves as technical leader on daily tasks and cases. Models/mentors and trains staff on technical skills. Recommends and coordinates scheduling of work assignments, daily priorities and directing the work of staff. Provide input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff

Performs other job-related duties as assigned
