Responsibilities
Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
Actively participate in industry conferences and associations at local, state, and national levels through committee memberships, presentations and leadership roles
Support marketing and business development in the regional water and wastewater market
Collaborate with senior staff to manage clients and proposals with other disciplines to execute projects effectively
Develop planning and design projects from inception to completion, ranging in size from small to large
Prepare complete construction packages, including all engineering, procurement, and construction deliverables
Perform detailed engineering calculations and analyses using design software
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical design/drafting staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field of study
5 or more years of experience
Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of drinking water treatment design, including tools, techniques and methodologies used to achieve successful outcomes
Client relationship skills, including preparation and development of proposals and client management experience with a successful record of accomplishment
Experience with planning, design and construction projects including water, wastewater and/or stormwater projects
Experience working with new and/or existing treatment plants, pump stations and/or conveyance systems
Preferred
Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering or an MBA
