Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and non-profit organizations
Exposure to E911 tax compliance including matching and mailing
Conduct thorough tax research to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
Maintain accurate general ledger accounting records and perform balance sheet reconciliations
Assist clients with estate planning, wills, trusts, and estate law matters
Provide guidance on mergers & acquisitions, ensuring proper tax implications are considered
Perform audits and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including account reconciliation
Prepare detailed financial reports and interpret results for clients to aid in decision-making
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of tax regulations and accounting principles
Experience in public accounting and corporate environments
Proficiency in various accounting software
Solid grasp of financial concepts
