Geotechnical Engineer

The Geotechnical Engineer will assess and analyze soil, rock, and groundwater conditions to design solutions for foundations and earthworks, ensuring the stability and safety of structures.

Responsibilities
Conduct geotechnical investigations: Perform field exploration, laboratory testing, and analysis to determine soil and rock properties
Design foundations and earthworks: Develop designs for foundations, retaining structures, and other earthworks
Prepare technical reports: Write detailed reports on findings, analyses, and recommendations
Provide technical support: Assist in the design and construction of infrastructure projects
Project management: Oversee geotechnical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Collaborate with other engineers: Work closely with civil, structural, and environmental engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
5-10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Florida
Strong analytical and computer skills
Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software
Excellent communication and project management skills
