Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the founder, PMs, designers, and engineers to design and build a world-class product
Build and ship critical features with focused intent, attention to detail, and an eye toward maintainability and scalability
Fully own your features end-to-end — from requirements and coding to testing, observability, deployment, and ongoing improvement
Shape our engineering culture as we grow
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience building complex web applications
Experience building backend systems — ideally with Python and frameworks like FastAPI or Flask, but if your background is in a statically-typed language (e.g., Go, Java, C#), that's great too
Strong engineering fundamentals
Ability to take ownership of your work and communicate clearly with teammates across disciplines
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, startup environments where priorities can shift quickly and adapt gracefully to ambiguity
Care deeply about building exceptional products and delivering real impact to users
Preferred
Familiarity with Python
Familiarity with Flask
Familiarity with SQLAlchemy
Familiarity with PostgreSQL
Familiarity with Redis
