They are seeking an Intern – Fab Equipment Maintenance Technician to develop foundational knowledge of the semiconductor fabrication process and gain exposure to advanced technologies in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities
Complete required safety training and conduct all work in accordance with safety policies
OJT on preventative/corrective maintenance and equipment qualification procedures in a cleanroom manufacturing environment
Receive training and participate in area continuous improvement programs
Partner with operations technicians and shift engineers/technicians to complete daily priorities that improve learning cycles
Provide troubleshooting support for equipment-related problems and address root causes
Improve equipment availability by investigating chronic tool problems and finding solutions
Maintain documentation on tool status, including observations and work performed
Perform and facilitate audits and submit good catches on safety and quality issues
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) program in Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering Technology, or a related field of study
Candidates must be enrolled in an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) program in Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering Technology, or a closely related field, with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later
Relocating to Manassas, VA to complete a 3-month internship
Relocation to Manassas, VA post-graduation!
Mechanical proficiency with the ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical systems
Knowledge of AC/DC circuits and basic fundamentals of electricity
Intermediate PC skills
Preferred
Encouraged completion of degree between December 2026 and August 2027
Veterans with prior service in any branch of the United States Military are encouraged to apply
