Maintenance Supervisor

Hillpointe is a fully integrated real estate development and investment management firm focused on developing market-rate workforce housing. They are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for inspecting and coordinating maintenance tasks, preparing vacant apartments for leasing, and maintaining the community's cleanliness and appearance.

Responsibilities

Inspecting and coordinating maintenance tasks
Preparing vacant apartments for leasing
Maintaining the community's cleanliness and appearance
Managing inventory
Performing preventative maintenance
Supporting cost-cutting initiatives
Conducting safety meetings
Assisting in budget development for repairs and maintenance

Qualification

EPA certifications Type IIICPO certificationProperty management systemsMathematical skillsCustomer service skillsLogical thinkingBasic office equipmentHand tool proficiencyCommunication skillsWritten skills

Required

Possess your own hand tools, unless prohibited by law, and be skilled in their safe use and maintenance
Apply logical thinking to solve problems effectively
Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to interact courteously and calmly with residents, clients, and team members and address issues
Demonstrate effective written skills to represent the company, act as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries and explain department policies
Be proficient in using the internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs, preferably with experience in property management systems
Operate basic office equipment like copiers, faxes, and telephones
Mathematical skills for financial/budget tasks
Must have EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
Must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
Must have a valid driver's license
Hold a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience/training
This position will participate in a rotating on-call schedule, requiring weekend, evening, and morning availability
Employees must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
Employees must have valid driver's license to drive while visiting property

Preferred

CPO certification is preferred (be willing to obtain)
