2025 Intern Conversion: 2026 FT MBA Merchandising Leadership Rotation Development Program
Walmart Canada is seeking candidates for their MBA Merchandising Leadership Rotation Development Program, designed for recent MBA graduates. This rotational program focuses on developing future leaders in merchandising by providing exposure to various business functions and strategic projects over a 3.5 to 5-year period.

Responsibilities
Coordinates completes and oversees job related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs identifying and communicating goals and objectives building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results identifying and addressing improvement opportunities and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training mentoring assigning duties providing recognition and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices
Manages projects by building project plans assigning projects and tasks to associates scheduling projects documenting project scope developing scorecards and metrics developing short and long term plans overseeing projects from start to completion and completing projects in accordance with agreed upon timelines
Manages the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs developing and communicating business plans and priorities removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance providing resources identifying performance standards measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly developing contingency plans and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning
Manages the development of associates by providing training and support monitoring associates growth sharing key learning providing feedback and coaching on performance providing input on performance appraisals selecting team members and ensuring associates have the knowledge and skills necessary to advance
Manages support to internal customers by reviewing project requests and project plans analyzing data driving solutions to business problems and store processes providing feedback on operational processes and providing recommendations for system changes and overall process changes
Prioritizes and executes key business strategies and communication platforms by managing cross functional initiatives that impact store and corporate processes managing merchandising programs and initiatives customer and company communications and associate training content making recommendations for system support developments recommending merchandise priorities providing insight to senior management and other business partners on key issues and opportunities to drive the business and translating merchandise strategies for assigned departments into executable programs

Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an MBA program with a graduation date of Spring 2026
3-5+ years of industry or military work experience
Authorization to work in US without restrictions at the time of application
Must have successfully completed Walmart Summer 2025 Merchandising Leadership Rotation Development Program Internship to apply
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and 2 years' experience in business management, merchandising, or related area OR 4 years' experience in business management, merchandising, or related area
Preferred
Project Management Certification
Six Sigma certification
