Comau LLC is seeking a Software Commissioning Engineer in the Commissioning & Site organization. This role is responsible for commissioning and debugging software developed during the engineering phase, focusing on PLC programs, HMI, and special applications throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Commission and debug the software developed during the engineering phase
Mainly focused on PLC programs, HMI and special application
Involved in the project from the power on of the lines through all the customer's milestones till the full-automatic production

Qualification

PLC controlsHMI commissioningIndustrial AutomationNetwork configurationsCustomer site experience

Required

Education: Associates Degree in Technology or Engineering required
Minimum of 2 years of experience with PLC controls is required in Industrial Automation solutions, in Automotive, Process or Logistics Industries
Experience in PLC, network configurations, commissioning drivers, HMI debug and commissioning
Significant customer site experience working closely with Site Team

Preferred

Education: Bachelor's in Technology or Engineering degree preferred
Experience in PLC software commissioning in Body Assembly (BIW), Powertrain Assembly, Electrification or Fulfilment / Logistics Industrial Automation solutions
