Responsibilities
Lead the Supplier Journey: Own the end-to-end quality lifecycle, from hand-selecting new partners to driving long-term performance and innovation
Architect Success: Facilitate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Ramp Readiness programs to ensure every new product launch is flawless from day one
Champion Root Cause Resolution: Spearhead the formal 8D process, managing cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and safeguard our revenue
Drive Process Excellence: Proactively analyze process drift and Cpk data to implement continuous improvement strategies that keep our suppliers at the cutting edge
Qualification
Required
BS in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science
5-7 years of experience managing the quality of castings, machined components, and metal fabrications
Mastery of the 8D process, SPC, and Cpk analysis
Expert ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications
Preferred
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
Experience with international supplier auditing and global quality standards
