Responsibilities

Represents the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy at recruitment events
Advises prospective students, parents, high school guidance counselors, community college partners, and undergraduate advisors on the admissions process, policies, financial aid/scholarship options, campus options, housing, academic, curricular, and related university information
Conducts campus tours and visits with prospective students on the UTHSC College of Pharmacy Knoxville campus
Creates and fosters partnerships with high school counselors, alumni, community partners, and undergraduate advisors
Coordinates high school, college fairs, community colleges, and private visits in assigned areas
Creates and executes recruitment strategies, tactics, resource requests, external messaging, and events/programs to achieve enrollment goals
Conducts review of direct admission applications including academic background, essays, letters of recommendation, extracurricular activities, and phone interviews to assess prospective students
Processes recruitment expenses and travel logs
Advises on questions related to admission requirements and the application process
Assists with the planning and execution of in person and zoom interviews for traditional pathway applicants to the professional program
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)
Two (2) years of relevant experience in Student Affairs or a related area. Experience gained as an undergraduate student may count towards this requirement
Strong skills in written and oral communication
Ability to exhibit strong interpersonal skills
Ability to plan visits, events, and presentations independently and strategically for prospective students
Skill in delivering oral presentations
Strong technology including word processing with the ability to learn and use CRM online platforms
Ability to lift, transport, and distribute objects up to 50 pounds
Must have a valid Driver's License
