Responsibilities

Identify, target, and generate new business opportunities in the Chicago area
Build and manage a robust pipeline of leads and prospective clients
Consult with companies on their technology needs, confidently presenting Expedient’s solutions
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure clients are fully supported throughout the sales process and beyond
Focus on prospecting, forecasting opportunities, pipeline development and closing deals based on individual and quarterly sales targets
Forecasting future sales based on trends and observations and meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas
Develop, prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations while partnering with dedicated Solutions Architect
Partner with Lead Generation teams and Channel Partner teams to generate leads and turn them into Expedient clients

Required

8+ years of experience selling cloud solutions to businesses in the Chicago area AND the extended region
Successful methodology for prospecting and lead generation to grow the sales pipeline of new business
Demonstrated success in B2B technology sales, especially within IT services or cloud solutions
Aptitude for quickly learning new technology concepts and communicating value to technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent relationship-building and consultative selling skills
Self-motivated, driven, and able to work well independently
Success in sales, consistently over achieving assigned quota
