Responsibilities
Setup, operate, and prove-out programs on a variety of CNC and manual machines
Execute print-to-part manufacturing of precision tooling and hardware
Machine high-precision, quick-turn projects as well as small-batch production runs with consistent attention to detail
Perform machining operations from blueprints, drawings, models, and verbal instructions
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective, solutions-oriented feedback
Communicate clearly and proactively to resolve technical challenges
Ensure all hardware meets blueprint specifications through meticulous attention to detail
Proactively identify and address issues to maintain quality and efficiency
Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of industry experts
Uphold a safe and healthy work environment to ensure everyone makes it 'Home for Dinner.'
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes
Skilled in operating manual mills and lathes
Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming
Proficient in the use of precision inspection equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc)
Solid understanding of GD&T principles and blueprint reading
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy with ability to learn new systems and tools
Capable of safely lifting up to 50 pounds
Proficient in applied shop mathematics
Demonstrated pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail
Motivated to expand skillset and adapt to evolving company and industry needs
Willingness to work overtime as required to support production schedules
Preferred
MasterCam proficiency or desire to learn
Aerospace background
5 axis machining
Experience with lathe live tooling
On machine programming experience. (VPS)
