Responsibilities
Conduct interviews, workshops, and on-site observations to understand existing workflows
Document end-to-end processes, systems, dependencies, and stakeholder roles
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, redundancies, and compliance issues
Create future-state process maps using Lean, Six Sigma, or best practice methodologies
Recommend improvements in workflow, technology integration, and organizational structure
Work closely with IT teams and Business Analysts to align process changes with technical capabilities
Present redesigned processes to stakeholders and secure buy-in
Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and pilot programs
Support phased rollouts and track effectiveness of changes
Define and monitor KPIs for each redesigned process
Provide recommendations for refinement post-implementation
Serve as an ongoing advisor for sustained process improvements
Qualification
Required
Strong business process analysis and workflow mapping experience
Proven ability to engage with frontline staff, leadership, and technical teams
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks
Ability to create future-state process designs and guide successful adoption
Self-starter, comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment
Business process improvement, process engineering, or operational excellence roles - 5 Years
Proven success in process mapping, gap analysis, and redesign of complex, multi-step workflows - 5 Years
Exceptional stakeholder management and facilitation skills, comfortable working with both frontline employees and executives - 5 Years
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose practical, people-centered solutions - 5 Years
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Organizational Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies - 5 Years
Prior experience in government, DMV, public sector, or high-volume service delivery environments is a plus - 3 Years
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - 3 Years
Ability to work in sometimes challenging environments where morale may be low, requiring empathy and strong relationship building - 3 Years
Comfortable managing ambiguity and driving clarity from complex situations - 3 Years
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
