Commissioning Project Manager
Davenergy Solutions is a rapidly growing, profitable company headquartered in San Diego, CA, seeking a full-time Commissioning Project Manager to join their mechanical engineering consulting practice. The role involves providing project management and oversight for commissioning, retro-commissioning, and energy audit projects, along with conducting field inspections of various properties.

Responsibilities
Provide project management and oversight for commissioning, retro-commissioning, and energy audit projects
Oversee and perform field inspections of government, commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and institutional properties
Conduct commissioning progress and issue resolution meetings with federal and private sector clients
Help perform commissioning activities such as construction document review, construction field installation verification, and equipment functional testing
Qualification
Required
Project management and project reporting
Commissioning of new construction buildings
Retro-commissioning experience and ECM Determination
Knowledgeable of building HVAC, Plumbing, and Power systems
Performance of energy audits (ASHRAE Level I, II, and III)
An ABET accredited bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
An understanding of and experience with a variety of HVAC systems
Familiarity with ASHRAE standards
Familiarity with ICC Building, Mechanical and Green Energy Codes
Experience performing whole building energy modeling
Excellent report writing skills, computer and internet skills
Excellent communication and management skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to complete assignments on-time and within budget
Ability to utilize ladders, scaffolding and other vertical support systems as part of construction inspections
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and spend several hours standing at any time
Ability to utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products by applying knowledge of computer literacy
Ability to exercise good interpersonal skills
BS in Engineering or related fields
EIT Required
Preferred
An ABET accredited bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Preferred
PE Preferred
Commissioning Certification a Plus (CxA, QxCP, CCCP, NEBB)
Experience performing whole building energy modeling a plus
