Responsibilities
Architect and build core SaaS features for a web-based platform (B2B/customer-facing)
Make key technical decisions on frameworks, CI/CD, infrastructure, and tooling
Lead code reviews and establish engineering best practices
Partner closely with product and design to shape new features
Contribute across the stack: backend (Python, Postgres, APIs) and frontend (TypeScript, React/Vue)
Balance hands-on coding with guiding architectural direction
Qualification
Required
8–10+ years of software engineering experience
Experience as a founding engineer or as the primary architect for a SaaS product, seeing it through 2+ years of development
Strong backend (Python, databases, APIs, security) and frontend (React/Vue, TypeScript, SPAs) experience
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, IaC)
Track record of proposing and implementing frameworks and tools from scratch
Comfortable in a startup environment—proactive, resourceful, and able to wear multiple hats
Preferred
Experience with applied AI/ML in SaaS platforms
Background in B2B SaaS or automation for complex workflows
