Responsibilities
Develop innovative software solutions aligned with business-unit strategy for new platforms and products
Collaborate with global teams including engineers, product managers, and UX designers to architect scalable cloud-based solutions
Design and develop proof-of-concepts, product specifications, and backend systems
Lead brainstorming and technical discussions to identify optimal solutions for customer needs
Research and evaluate new technologies for potential integration into products and services
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality software delivery
Write and maintain complex code for advanced programming assignments
Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority technical issues
Prepare and oversee project plans and statements of work
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
Design and implement cloud service APIs, unit tests, and client libraries
Lead integration efforts for cloud services across engineering and application teams
Drive team alignment by facilitating communication between engineering and product
Contribute to strategic planning for cloud initiatives, including resource allocation and roadmap development
Champion best practices in software development, security, and cloud architecture across the team
Lead scrum events, retrospectives, and process improvements to enhance team efficiency and delivery quality
Act as a liaison between technical teams and leadership, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and opportunities
Support hiring and onboarding of new team members to build a strong, diverse, and high-performing team
Qualification
Required
Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and working with frameworks like Express.js or LoopBack
Proven ability to develop innovative cloud solutions and work collaboratively in a team environment
Hands-on experience deploying and monitoring applications in AWS or similar cloud infrastructure
Familiarity with NoSQL, MySQL, and microservices architecture
Experience with Agile and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
Proficiency with Git or other source control systems
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
High attention to detail and ability to analyze complex requirements
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead technical teams without formal authority
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Experience in project leadership, including planning, prioritization, and risk management
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience
Extensive experience in cloud-based application development and deployment
Prior experience leading projects or small teams in a cloud or software engineering environment
Exposure to people leadership responsibilities (mentoring, performance feedback, or team coordination)
