MRI Technologist I or II - Galveston (Fri-Sun 8:00am to 8:30pm)
UTMB Faculty Group Practice is part of UTMB Health, which is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. They are seeking MRI Technologists I and II to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures and assist physicians, ensuring patient safety and adherence to established standards.

Responsibilities
Complete a variety of routine MR procedures to include common and specialty MR exams of moderate complexity
Provide direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special MR procedures
Deliver exceptional patient care and adhere to MR exam standards and guidelines established by governing agencies
Perform magnetic resonance imaging in the inpatient, emergency room, and hybrid operating room settings
Serve as a mentor and trainer to the MR Technologist I and students
Exercise sound judgment and execute above average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures
Qualification
Required
Completion of MRI training program to include UTMB MR Training Program
0+ years of experience for MRI Technologist I
American Heart Association (BLS)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
Must be MRI certified or MRI registry-eligible at the time of hire
Registry-eligible candidates are required to obtain MRI certification through the American Registry of Radiologic (ARRT) or an equivalent certifying (ex. ARMRIT) body within six (6) months of hire
Completion of an MRI Training program to include the UTMB MR Training program for MRI Technologist II
Proficient in advance interventional cases & MR diagnostic cases of the head, cardiac, prostate and breast
3+ years of experience for MRI Technologist II
American Heart Association (BLS)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
