Branch Manager | Loan Officer
LoanPeople is a growing company based in Austin, TX, founded by mortgage industry veterans. They are seeking a Branch Manager to oversee branch operations, manage a team of loan officers, and sell mortgage loan products to residential clients.

Responsibilities
Manage operations and budget of branch office
Recruit, evaluate, and select branch personnel, including loan officers, operations staff, processors, and other mortgage professionals
Establish sales goals that staff members are expected to accomplish, then supervise and help them be successful
Work with branch loan officers to build volume and realtor relationships
Maintain all required licenses and registrations, including NMLS
Ensure branch pipeline is proactively monitored and managed
Ensure team loan officers follow all policies and procedures so that all loans are quality products and in compliance with regulatory and investor requirements
Promote behavior that is consistent with LoanPeople stated values
Support corporate office in follow-up of trailing documents as needed
Formalize sales strategies, forecasts, and reports as necessary
Train and manage loan officer team in accordance with company standards
Review compensation calculation worksheets, modifying branch efforts to keep results in line with expectations, and preparing and submitting periodic production projections in accordance with company policies and expectations
Market and promote company with business partners and referral networks such as realtors, with strong attention to reputation management
Expand company market share
Participate in regular meetings with leadership to provide feedback for company improvements
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat, navigating the internet, and generally tech savvy
Demonstrated track record of effective, proactive, and precise verbal and written communication
Detail oriented, organized, and able to prioritize, multi-task, manage time, problem solve, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Self starter willing to take initiative and be resourceful in identifying and owning issues and producing effective results
Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
Good judgment and the ability to handle confidential information
Professional, friendly, courteous, positive, collaborative, and client-centric spirit that embraces diversity and inclusion
