The role involves contributing to the creative vision and commercial success of the brand by overseeing the entire design process and collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities
Lead the concept, design, and execution of seasonal collections in line with brand strategy and customer profile
Develop original designs through hand sketches, CADs, and technical packages
Research global fashion trends, fabric innovations, color forecasts, and competitive landscapes
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, Merchandising, and Production teams to ensure feasibility, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery
Oversee the entire design process from concept to final sample, including fittings and revisions
Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments
Mentor and supervise junior designers or design assistants
Present designs and seasonal concepts to internal stakeholders and external buyers (if applicable)
Ensure designs meet brand quality, fit, and sustainability standards

Qualification
Required
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, market relevance, and technical skill
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), CLO 3D (a plus), and PLM systems
Excellent understanding of garment construction, fit, and textiles
Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge about fashion, culture, and innovation
Experience working with overseas vendors or in global markets
Knowledge of sustainability practices and circular design principles
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field, or equivalent experience required
3+ years of experience in apparel design, preferably within [category: e.g., basics wear, activewear, socks, underwear, bra, boxers. etc.]
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and stand or move for long periods
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
