Responsibilities

Responsible for planning and management of the Mechanical Design Engineering Department

Responsible for working on, planning and execution of new and existing jobs that are assigned to the Mechanical Design Engineering Department

Responsible for ensuring the availability of adequate personnel and resources in order to perform contractually required efforts that have been assisted to Mechanical Design Engineering Department

Responsible for providing input into overall departmental Policies and Procedures

Responsible for meeting Engineering schedules and budgets in coordination with Program Managers and Operations on programs assigned to Mechanical Design Engineering Department

Responsible for providing direction, guidance, training and coaching of Engineering personnel to ensure the ability of the department to support current and future program requirements

Provides support to ensure quality, productivity, standardization and innovation in new product design

Guide, develop and train a team of Mechanical Design Engineers in order to meet the engineering department’s strategic goals

Review and generation engineering drawings with design approval authority

Provides BOE and schedule inputs into current and future jobs

Responsible for overall design compliance of jobs assigned to the Mechanical Design Engineering Department
