Specialist I, People & Workplace Culture/HR (Morning Shift) Part Time

They are seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, faculty, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and managing daily operations at the front desk.

Responsibilities
Strong customer service skills, with a focus on serving faculty, staff, and the public
Demonstrate strong initiative, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities
Attention to details, thoroughness and accuracy
Knowledge and practical use of Microsoft office production (Work, Excel and Outlook)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Ability to follow instructions and company policies
Ability to operate standard office equipment including, computers (including several computer programs), fax, copier, multi-line phone system
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College
Ability to work with all groups from a variety of academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and with community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
All employees are expected to maintain a permanent residence within the State of Utah as a condition of employment. New employees must provide a valid Utah residential address within 30 days of their start date

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Prior customer service or front desk experience
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email, Microsoft Office, or scheduling software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Dependable and punctual
Preferred
Human Resources and/or Higher education work experience
