Business Development Associate
Bluewater is a startup focused on managing the lifecycle of large format lithium-ion batteries and utility scale solar panels, promoting sustainability through innovative solutions. They are seeking a Business Development Associate to identify new business opportunities, manage customer relationships, and drive revenue within the energy storage and solar sectors.

Responsibilities
Proactively seek new business through prospecting, cold calling, and other methods of outreach
Qualify leads and conduct market research to identify potential customers
Serve as an integral part of the sales process, maintaining a pipeline of leads while tracking ongoing deals within a CRM software
Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships
Generate quotes and proposals which are accurate to the scope of each project
Work with clients to understand their unique pain points and creatively outline custom solutions based on Bluewater’s services
Become a subject matter expert in the solar and energy storage industry
Negotiate and close deals, ensuring that the pricing, services agreed upon, and terms of agreement are favorable to each party involved
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
0-3+ years of experience in sales
Sales training and CRM experience are a plus
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive and diligent with a self-motivated approach to business development
Strong organizational and project management skillset
Willingness to travel to industry trade shows and events
Results-driven with a passion for achieving ambitious sales targets
