They are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to define business processes, translate business requirements into system solutions, and act as a liaison between finance and technical teams.

Responsibilities

Define business processes and system alignment

Translate business requirements into system definitions and solutions

Act as a liaison between the user community, specifically finance and accounting, and the technical applications development staff

Resolve system problems to ensure customer processes run smoothly

Document financial business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc

Implement system alignment with business and financial processes

Utilize financial acumen and experience with financial software, databases and reporting tools to develop effective solutions that meet regulatory and financial requirements

Identifies business system requirements and related business/application solutions over a complete business process

Develops new customizations and integrations with design, documentation, testing and training

Execute various types of tests (unit, integration, functional, exploratory, etc.) to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of the product

Conducts business process evaluations to gain technical knowledge of business requirements

Writes and maintains system documentation

Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs

Required

Requires BS Degree or equivalent work experience

Considerable experience in accounting and financial practices within software development

Knowledge of GAAP standards as they relate to system design is a plus

Excellent organizational and project management skills

An understanding of the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment

Solid working knowledge of standard features and functions of multiple applications/modules to field, analyze and resolve customer issues/problems

Strong written and oral communication skills in order to define business and technical parameters and lead team to meet business requirements

Identifies problems, researches alternatives, prepares presentations, drives solutions, tests to confirm, gains consensus, and implements solutions for multiple applications within multiple functions

Strong working knowledge of Data Analysis and/or relational databases

Strong working knowledge of financial system integrations and supporting technologies

Typically have 4-7 years of directly related experience

Preferred

Ideal candidate will have experience with Stripe payment platform, Great Plains/ Microsoft Dynamics Finance, or Business Central and/or other similar financial software

CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification preferred
