Associate – Commercial Litigation
BakerHostetler is seeking a mid-to-senior level associate to join its Litigation Group. The role involves working with regional and national clients on complex commercial litigation, including healthcare and media-related issues.

Responsibilities
Work with regional and national clients in connection with complex commercial litigation including matters involving healthcare and media and First Amendment issues
Work with expert witnesses, fact development, taking and defending depositions, and drafting discovery responses, briefs, and motions for complex matters
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in complex commercial litigation
Experience working with expert witnesses, fact development, taking and defending depositions, and drafting discovery responses, briefs, and motions for complex matters
A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school
Must be admitted to practice in Georgia or waive admission to the Georgia Bar
Exceptional project management skills
Effective and persuasive writing and oral communication skills
Ability to manage a fast-paced, complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment and exercise good judgment in client service
Preferred
Clerkship experience is strongly preferred
Trial experience is a plus
Law review or other comparable experience indicating significant research and writing skills a plus
