Responsibilities

Manage SAN/NAS storage systems supporting academic applications and user data
Implement and monitor daily incremental and weekly full backups, with quarterly restore validations
Optimize storage allocation and performance for databases, LMS, and academic applications
Apply DISA STIGs to storage platforms and coordinate with Cybersecurity on remediation
Provide rapid recovery support during outages or data corruption events

Qualification

Enterprise storage managementStorage technology certificationBackup solutions expertiseData recovery support’s degree in IT

Required

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
7+ years experience managing enterprise storage environments
Certification in storage technology (e.g., NetApp Certified, Dell EMC Proven Professional, HPE Storage Solutions)
Strong background in backup solutions (Commvault, Veeam, Veritas) and restore validation
Clearance: Secret
