Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies for dredging and marine services
Identify and pursue opportunities in maintenance dredging, capital dredging, environmental dredging, and land reclamation
Lead tendering and bidding processes, from proposal preparation through to contract negotiations
Build trusted relationships with government agencies, port authorities, oil & gas operators, and infrastructure developers
Work closely with technical, operations, finance, and QHSE teams to deliver tailored client solutions
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings across the region
Manage the sales pipeline, prepare forecasts, and report progress to senior leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Marine Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred
5+ years of business development or commercial experience in dredging, marine construction, or port services
Proven success in securing and managing large-scale dredging or maritime contracts
Solid knowledge of dredging methods and equipment (CSDs, split barges) and environmental regulations
Familiarity with international contracting standards (FIDIC) is an advantage
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and excellent communication abilities
Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
Willingness to travel frequently across the Caribbean and internationally
